About Us

SoapboxBlogger.com is 80% Conservative and 20% Liberal.

SoapboxBlogger is owned by a logical American whose opinion is not swayed by religion, political party or American media.

SoapboxBlogger could change opinions of any subject as long as the opposing opinion is based on intelligence and logic but not until then.

SoapboxBlogger is designed for enlightenment and entertainment. If you can’t handle an opinion different than your own then I must insist you find another website that will pacify your stubborn mind.

SoapboxBlogger is 80% conservative because we believe:

• There is an Islamic Extremist terrorist threat against America and the World.
• Global warming or climate change has not been proven to be man-made.
• When diplomacy fails war is necessary.
• Government should be small.
• Drilling for American oil would bridge the gap to alternative energy without having to buy foreign oil.

SoapboxBlogger is 20% Liberal because we believe:

• Religion is a source of many problems in the world.
• Government should not dictate who can get legally married. Sexual orientation is none of the government business.
• Government should not dictate what a woman can do with her body when it comes to abortion although I believe that life begins at conception.

SoapboxBlogger.com would appreciate your comments and opinions. Thanks for stopping by.

My sentiments exactly. I can not stand obama or any of his puppets that follow him around. I find it hard to believe that there is only one democrat in congress that had the guts and integrity to stand up to this abominable administration.

I don’t agree that religion per se is as much the “source of many problems in the world” as it is a potential catalyst for those problems. In fact, we see in many areas around the globe and throughout history that as soon as a society moves away from it’s respective religion, the problems are soon to follow. I am not speaking of any one religion or even the many conflicting views on particular details within a religion, but of the basic tenets that are the foundation of that religion. A society tries to circumvent those tenets by way of desiring more personal freedom and (historically) loses it’s way. It is at this point that the religion becomes a catalyst for problems. People cry “Religious Oppression!” for many reasons (some legitimate), then point at that religion and say “See, religion is the problem.” Read C.S. Lewis “Mere Christianity” for a (in my opinion) refreshing look at morality (much of it could be applied on a philosophical level to other religions) and where we derive our sense of genuine right and wrong.
