When Obama was on the campaign trail he promised transparency in his administration, unlike the past 8 years. He promised ‘no more closed door meetings’. He promised transparency during health care negotiations. He even said he would allow CSpan cameras in on the heath care negotiations because he wanted the American people to be able to see for themselves.
Actual Obama quote: “What we will do is have the negotiations televised on CSpan so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents and who is making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or insurance companies and so that approach, I think, is what is going to allow people to stay involved in the process”
Obama did not just make this promise once; he made it many times.
CSpan agrees that this would be good and they are urging that cameras be allowed in the meetings as the House and Senate work to merge the Senate Health Care Bill and the House Health Care Bill.
The democrats are not budging on allowing the cameras inside:
- Are they afraid that the public might hear the truth?
- What dirty deals are being made?
- Why did they have closed door meeting and late night votes? Especially some sneaky late night vote on Christmas Eve while the rest of America was distracted.

Several democrats are jumping off the sinking ship known as the democrat party including Chris Dodd (D-CT), Byron Dorgan (D-ND), Bill Ritter (D-CO). There have also been Democrats switching parties.
There are some bad things happening and it is time for America to wake up. Did someone say Obamacare?
